A Fully Customizable Tour of
Central & Southeast Oregon
Your tour can be structured to capture the painted canyons, aspen groves, petroglyphs, hot springs, volcanic landforms, historic buildings, sage, and creatures that inhabit the desert throughout July, August, and September.
A typical tour includes hiking, camping, exploration, scenic road travel, and of course photography.
PHOTOGRAPHY
As you travel throughout Oregon, you are encouraged to ask the guide to stop to take photos anywhere along the way. You may see just the right photo opportunity and want to get the perfect picture. Timing, lighting, and subject matter can be everything!
You will be taken to the unique places in central and SE Oregon where there are great photo opportunities. So many beautiful places are never seen, or enjoyed, by the traveler who does not get off the beaten path! You will have the opportunity to capture those memories on film, or digital images, and enjoy them for years to come.
This is not a classroom environment or a photo outing where the participant is being taught how to take photos, but rather a tour to areas of Oregon that the participant has not had the opportunity to visit.
CAMPING
This is an opportunity to visit the more remote parts of Oregon that are not seen by the average camper. You will be able to enjoy these areas in a relaxed atmosphere and on a schedule that meets your desires. Oregon Photographic Adventures provides the camping equipment and appropriate vehicle to explore the remote parts of Oregon in comfort.
Arrangements for types of meals and cooking are all negotiable. Some participants enjoy doing some of the cooking while others want the guide to do it for them. Either way is acceptable. Do you have special dietary requirements? Just let Oregon Photographic Adventures know prior to the trip so the appropriate arrangements can be made.
Oregon Photographic Adventures provides a nice travel trailer for sleeping and to provide shelter in inclement weather if the need may arise.
HOT SPRINGS
Part of exploring and photographing is the exploration of the many hot springs and the area surrounding the hot springs. Many times the area around an undeveloped hot springs is rich in treasures. Oregon Photographic Adventures tries to take advantage of these areas making their exploration part of the trip experience.
PETROGLYPHS
There are a number of areas where petroglyphs can be found in SE Oregon. If the exploration of petroglyphs is one of the things that you desire to do, this can be included in the travels.
EXPLORING
These camping adventures are not limited to photography. If the participant has a particular location that he/she wants to explore, that can be worked into the trip. This is to be an adventure that meets the desires of the participant.
HIKING
Some places are only accessible by hiking. If the participant wants to hike to see a special area, that can be included in the trip.
